Both men and women Kabaddi teams of India have won the title of the 5th World Cup Kabaddi Tournament by winning their respective matches in the final on Saturday.In the final match of women section Indian team defeated Newzeland team by 27-36 and won the title of the tournament at village Badal of Sri Mukatsar district of Punjab.In men section India defeated Pakistan by 45-42 in the final played at village Badal.In women section winner Indian team got a prize of Rs. one crore, a trophy and a gold medal while runners up Newzeland team got a prize of Rs. 51 lakh, a trophy and a silver medal.In men section winner Indian team got Rs. two crore, a trophy, a gold medal and a tractor for each player.The runners up team of Pakistan got a prize of Rs. one crore, a trophy and a silver medal.Besides this prizes were also given to best raiders and stoppers in both men and women section.Total 19 teams 11 in men section and 8 in women section participated in the tournament.Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal along with Punjab Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal distributed the prizes.
