The Indian Institute of Packaging will be launching an online educational program on Certified Packaging Engineer in the Prime Minister's initiative of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Speaking to newspersons at Chennai today, Dr.Tanweer Alam, Director of the Institute of packaging, said that the program will be launched on the 15th of this month. <br />”<br />”AIR Correspondent says, according to the Exim Bank report, more than 35,000 packaging experts are required currently for the Packaging Industry. The Institute of Packaging has the objective to create Packaging Engineers with complete knowledge from design conception to manufacturing. More than 20 international faculties will be part of this program. The Institute of Packaging also identified 75 traditional products from across India for improving their packaging as per international standards. <br />”<br />”<span style="color: #222222;">In Tamilnadu, Trichy Banana Krishnagiri Mango, Thanjavur doll, Srivillputhur Palkova and Kovilpatti Kadalaimittai have been chosen by the Tamilnadu Government under this program and the Institute of Packaging will be collaborating with all the stakeholders of these products.</span><br />
