Pakistan has said that the information given by India on Jamaat-ud-Dawah Chief Hafiz Mohammed Saeed's involvement in the Mumbai attacks is sketchy and will not hold in court to prosecute him. Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that Islamabad needs statements of forensic experts and authentic mobile reports reestablishing connection of terrorists with Saeed. Addressing a press conference in Islamabad last evening, he said Pakistan needs more information from India to make a strong case. Mr Malik said, this is required so that prosecution is carried out in such a way that the culprits do not get the benefit of doubt in court. Ruling out the extradition JuD Chief to India, Pak Interior Minister said Hafiz Saeed is being investigated. Mr Malik said, though Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice seeking the arrest of Saeed, he cannot not be extradited to India as the two countries do not have an extradition treaty. Two FIRs have been lodged against Saeed recently at Faisalabad in Punjab province under the Anti-Terrorism Act for making speeches in which he incited people to wage jehad against infidels.
