Women long-jumpers M A Prajusha, Mayookhi Johny and Reshmi Bose stole the show today in the Indian Grand Prix in Bangalore. All the three turned in personal-best performances. Significantly, all of them comfortably crossed the 6.4 metres mark, considered a key benchmark, at Sree KanteeravaStadium. Prajusha of Railways picked up the gold with a 6.55 metrejump. Her previous personal best was 6.36 metres. Mayookhi of ONGC, who came up with 6.49 metres, got thesecond spot. With 6.46 metres, Reshmy of Railways picked up the bronze. Barring the trio's creditable feat, sparks did not fly inthe competition, where the number of events were pruned to sixfrom the original 13 because of insufficient entries.
