Speaker of the US House of Representatives Paul Ryan has said that the Indian government is going to be America's great ally and there is a need to nurture the relationship.<br/><br/>Ryan said under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India and US have a great potential for the future particularly with the seas, in the Pacific and in the Indian Ocean.<br/><br/>He said this in a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington on Thursday, a day after Mr Modi addressed a joint meeting of the US Congress at his invitation.<br/><br/>Ryan also said the Indian Prime Minister is bringing needed reforms to the country.<br/><br/>
