With Western sanctions on Iran easing, Indian exporters are looking to boost trade with the Gulf nation. Engineering Export Promotion Council of India said the renewed interest has prompted them to send a delegation to Iran this year to explore opportunity. The United States and its allies have already accorded Iran with sanctions relief of 7 billion dollars under the terms of a six-month nuclear deal signed in November last year.
