Indian eves will take on Japan in their final group match in Uber Cup Badminton tournament at Kunshan in China today. Indian women's team recorded dominating 5-0 win over Germany yesterday. Saina Nehwal and P V Sindhu won their respective singles matches and then Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa won the first doubles to help the team take an unassailable 3-0 lead. In the last two inconsequential matches, Ruthvika Shivani Gadde won her Singles, while N Sikki Reddy and Sindhu paired up to win the second doubles event. Indian women's team thrashed Australia by a similar margin on Monday. In Thomas Cup, Indian men's team suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat against Hong Kong at Kunshan in China yesterday. The Indian Men's team who lost their opening tie against Thailand by the same margin, face an early exit from the tournament. The men will next take on Indonesia in a Group B match today.
