Indian Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Ranjit Rae has stressed upon the importance of the health and education facilities in the development of people. Inaugurating school buildings at Dolakha district in Nepal he said that Government of India has given special focus to the education and health sector so that these facilities are easily accessible and affordable to the people of Nepal. <br/><br/>During his three days visit, which concluded today, Mr. Rae handed over development projects constructed with Indian financial assistance of 85 million Nepalese rupees. The projects include two school buildings and 10 bed Community Hospital. These projects have been supported by the Government of India under its multi-sectoral and multi-dimensional Economic Cooperation Programme with Nepal. <br/><br/>The Government of India has been providing financial assistance for various large and small development projects in different parts of Nepal, mainly in the sectors of education, health and infrastructure development, in response to local needs and in partnership with the Government of Nepal.
