Indian embassy officials in Saudi Arabia have reached out to distressed Indian nationals in Dubai who were duped by a placement agency. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj informed this through a tweet. <br/><br/>According to reports, about a dozen youth from eastern Uttar Pradesh were duped by their placement agency and had to spend more than a fortnight in a bus on the outskirts of Dubai. Later, some of the Indian expatriates arranged for their accommodation. <br/><br/>Earlier, in a tweet, Ms. Swaraj said the victims had contacted Embassy in October requesting to leave Saudi Arabia. The Embassy provided a lawyer who is fighting their case. The next date of hearing is January 6.
