The Indian Cultural Centre, ICC, Indian Embassy in Kathmandu has organised a "North East Indian Cultural Festival-Namaste Nepal". The festival aims to consolidate existing Indo-Nepal relationship, shared sensibilities between the people of two countries and common cultural values.<br/><br/> During the 14-day festival, which started on 14th January, four visiting troupes from North East will perform in various parts of Nepal. <br/><br/>In capital Kathmandu, famous Tetseo Sisters from Nagaland performed at Indian Embassy this evening. Indian Ambassador to Nepal Shri Ranjit Rae, diplomats from many countries, artists and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. Art exhibitions and food festival aimed to showcase the diversity of North Eastern states of India are also being organised.
