In a novel initiative to reach out to hundreds of thousands of blue collar workers residing in the United Arab Emirates, the Indian embassy last evening honoured thirty skilled workers for their commendable work in their respective fields.The Indian Ambassador to the UAE, Mr. Talmiz Ahmad speaking on the occasion said this is the least we can do to lacs of people who have left their homes in trying circumstances and done us proud in the UAE. Mr. Ahmad said that nearly twenty lakh Indian nationals reside in the UAE, with over 65% of them falling in the blue-collar category.
