In an effort to promote India- Kuwait cultural ties, the Embassy of India in Kuwait will organise two ‘Qawwali’ performances at its Auditorium on 2 and 3rd October. According to a press release of Indian Embassy, the eight-member team of the well-known ‘Nizami Bandhu’ qawwals will be performing in cooperation with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi. Nizami Bandhu belong to the 'Sikandra Gharana' and trained in qawwali and classical vocal music. They have also participated in many prestigious events in India and abroad.
