To observe the world Hindi day, a function was organized at the Embassy of India in Kuwait on Sunday. According to a press release of Indian Embassy, the event was inaugurated by Ambassador of India Mr Ajai Malhotra by lighting the traditional lamp. He also read out the message of the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, issued on the occasion of World Hindi Day. A debate on the topic ‘Use of Hindi in Today’s World’ was organised on the occasion, in which students from eleven Indian schools in Kuwait participated.<br/><br/>The world and ‘World Hindi Day’ is celebrated annually across the world on 10th January.
