In Nepal, a colourful function was organized at the premises of Indian Embassy in Kathmandu this morning to celebrate the 64th Independence Day in a befitting manner. Ambassador of India Mr. Rakesh Sood hoisted the national tricolor and read out the text of the President’s message to the nation to a large gathering of Indians and local people. On this occasion, Ambassador Sood released – Bhu Puru 2010, an annual publication of Indian Army Ex-Serviceman Welfare Organization that provides information about welfare related aspects of Nepal domiciled government of India pensioners.
