The newly renovated residence of Indian High Commission in Singapore is among the eight projects chosen for Architectural Heritage Award by Singapore. This house purchased by Government in 1948 and dilapidated beyond repair was also severely damaged by a fallen tree. The restoration of the original tropical black and white bungalow, constructed in 1911, which lasted nearly two years, was funded and monitored by India.
