Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar today said, Indian education has to be aimed at the holistic development of personality and not just job and information oriented. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti Celebration in New Delhi today, Mr. Javadekar said his Ministry is revamping school curriculum at all levels and in the coming days teachings of Buddha will be incorporated in the new syllabus for overall personality development of students.<br/> '<br/>Speaking on the occassion, Union minister for culture Mahesh Sharma, highlighted the eternal relevance of Teachings of Buddha. He also felicitated S R Bhatt a scholar in Buddhist studies.<br/><br/>Mr. Sharma announced that 'End to end tourism' – linking all the Buddhist sites in the country to attract foreign tourists across the world is being contemplated.
