Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said Indian economy is performing well despite global economic slowdown. Quoting Mr Jaitley, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told media that the Finance Minister said economy is growing at 7.5 per cent which is encouraging. Mr Jaitley said India has become a favorable destination of investment for several foreign investors. <br/><br/>Informing about BJP Parliamentary Meeting, Mr Naqvi said schemes for country's poor n farmers were reviewed in the meeting. He said members congratulated the Finance Minister for presenting pro poor, pro youth and pro farmer Budget. Mr Naqvi said government will take all steps to construct road in villages and provide better irrigation facilities for farmers.
