Indian Diaspora all set to welcome PM Modi in Mozambican capital Maputo tomorrow

In Mozambique, Indian Diaspora is all set to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Maputo tomorrow. Mr. Modi will attend a reception organized by Indian High commissioner to Mozambique. The event is being organised to provide the Indian Diaspora an opportunity to interact with the prime minister. Our correspondent reports that around 600 people will be attending the event. The Local people are excited to see the Prime Minister.<br/><br/>Around 20,000 people of Indian origin are living in Mozambique. Though they constitute 1 percent of the country's population, they own a share of around 40 percent in retail trade of Mozambique. They also provide employment opportunity to thousands of Mozambique citizens.<br/><br/>Mr Modi will reach Maputo tomorrow morning. The Prime Minister will meet Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi, and will also visit the Mozambique parliament. Later he will go to Science and Technology Park in Malwana, a nearby suburb and will return to Maputo for Vehicles donation ceremony.
