Indian delegation to hold talks with B'desh power ministry

A delegation headed by Union Power secretary H S Brahma reached Dhaka today to hold talks with power ministry officials of Bangladesh. <br/><br/>The discussions which will begin tomorrow are expected to focus on the modalities of implementing the Memorandum of Understanding reached in the power sector between the two countries during the visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to India in January. <br/><br/>India has agreed to supply to Bangladesh 250 MW electricity from the national grid. The two days talks in Dhaka is expected to help in expediting the process of enabling inter-grid connectivity to facilitate power supply to Bangladesh in addition to exploring the possibilities of co-operation in setting up power projects.<br/>
