The Government today said that the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team is mandated to track and monitor cyber security incidents in the Country.<br />'' <br />'' In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, the Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that all the Government websites and applications are audited with respect to cyber security prior to their hosting.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister said that auditing of the websites and applications is conducted on a regular basis after hosting.<br />'' He informed that a cyber crisis management plan has been formulated by the CERT for countering cyber-attacks and cyber terrorism for implementation by all Ministries and departments of Central and State Governments.<br />'' <br />''<br />''He said that 64 cyber security mock drills were conducted so far to enable assessment of cyber security posture and preparedness of organisations in Government and critical sectors. The Minister said that 820 organisations from different states and sectors had participated in the exercise.<br />
