Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the Indian community all over the world is a strength that can convert brain drain to brain gain. Inaugurating Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra in New Delhi today, Mr Modi said, in more than 150 countries there is a presence of Pravasi Bhartiyas and they are a huge strength. <br/><br/>He said, let us view the diaspora not only in terms of 'Sankhya (Numbers)' but see it as 'Shakti (Power)'. <br/><br/>He said, Humanity is a principal inspiration for India and the world has acknowledged this.<br/> <br/>He said, India has never coveted any territory and never attacked another country yet thousands of Indians gave their lives in the 1st and 2nd world war.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, in the last two years the Government has rescued people from conflict situations, not just Indians but also foreigners. <br/><br/>Mr Modi, on humanitarian issues the Ministry of External Affairs has created a special niche for itself. <br/><br/>He said, the Kendra is inaugurated on a significant day of 2nd October as Mahatma Gandhi had left India but the call of the nation brought him back.<br/><br/>The centre is expected to develop into the hub of activities for sustainable, symbiotic and mutually rewarding economic, social and cultural engagement between India and its Diaspora. <br/><br/>Among other facilities, the complex has a library, research centre, flexible capacity meeting rooms, cultural centre, auditorium of 500 capacity, 24 guest rooms, business centres and restaurant.
