Indian challenge at Japan Open ends

The Indian challenge at the Japan Open Super Series Badminton ended in Tokyo today after shuttlers Ajay Jayaram, K. Srikanth and H.S. Prannoy lost their respective men's singles quarter-final matches. Fifth seeded Vietnamese Tien Minh Nguyen came out victorious 21-18, 21-13 against Jayaram. Elsewhere, Japanese seventh seed Kenichi Tago defeated K.Srikant 21-18, 21-9 in their first ever match to proceed to the semifinals. China's Huan Gao won 21-11, 20-22, 21-13 in a marathon match against H.S.Prannoy.
