Indian boxers have created history by winning a record haul of 10 medals, including four gold, in the International Boxing Cup held in Limassol, Cyprus. Pugilists, Madan Lal in the 52kg, V.Durga Rao in the 56kg, Mandeep Jangra in the 69kg and Praveen Kumar in the +91kg division won the gold for India, while Manoj Kumar, Dinesh Kumar and Sukhdeep Singh had to be content with silver medals.Earlier in the tournament, Anil Kumar, Jagroop Singh and L. Devendro Singh had crashed out in the semifinals, finishing with a bronze each.Meanwhile, at the Khabarovsk International Competition in Russia, India's Thokchom Nanao Singh in 49kg and Dilbagh Singh in 69kg finished with Silver medals, after they lost their final bouts yesterday. Indian pugilists ended with five medals.Earlier, Sunil Kumar, Shiva Thapa and Satish Kumar bagged the Bronze medals for India in their respective categories.
