A team of Indian army is scheduled to reach Bangladesh next week to participate in joint exercises with the Bangladesh army. The fortnight long exercise will begin on October 9th in Sylhet and will conclude on October 22nd.
The team will be reaching Bangladesh by a special flight. According to sources the platoon level exercise which is to be organized in Sylhet is part of the efforts to establish goodwill and mutual cooperation between the armies of the two neighbouring countries. Earlier, last year a 23 member team of the Bangladesh army had participated in joint exercises with Indian army at Jorhat.
