Indian Army’s Western Command is conducting a major exercise in the plains of Punjab to provide real time information of the battle front to the field commanders to help them in decision making during conflict. Quoting Defence PRO, Jalandhar, AIR Correspondent reports that about 20,000 soldiers, tanks, mechanized vehicles, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Attack Helicopters are participating in the exercise. Frontline Fighter Aircrafts of the Indian Air Force are also participating in it.
