Indian Army rescues more than 450 tourists at Yongdi, Sikkim

The Indian Army yesterday rescued more than 450 tourists including women and children at Yongdi, Sikkim from the high reaches near the India-China border following sudden heavy snowfall yesterday.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Yongdi witnessed severe snowstorm and sub-zero temperatures yesterday and120 vehicles carrying tourists were stranded after the snowstorm, the army informed.  All tourists were provided medical support while no major injuries or casualties were reported.</span><br />
