<span style="color: black;">Troops of the Indian Army's Trishakti Corps continued efforts to evacuate stranded tourists due to landslides in Chungthang, Mangan district in Sikkim, informed a defence spokesperson on Sunday. Around 300 tourists stranded in Lachung and Lachen were assisted to cross over a temporary bridge for further movement towards Gangtok. The tourists were provided food, a resting place and medical comfort by the Army troops.
