Indian Army today clarified that Army Group Insurance Fund, AGIF has not employed any firm or agent and asked its personnel to beware of fraudsters and not pay any amount to them. <br/><br/>In a statement, Indian Army said, certain firms are cheating retired and serving personnel by claiming to be agents of AGIF, or having a tie up with AGIF. These fraudulent firms insist on serving and retiring personnel to become members of their firm by paying membership money. <br/><br/>They then promise to facilitate the processing of claims or loans and refund of pending money from AGIF. The Army made it clear that AGIF does not charge any money for payment of claims.
