The Indian Army commenced implementing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tagging of its ammunition inventory. <br />'' <br />'' The first consignment of RFID tagged ammunition, comprising three lots of 5.56mm ammunition, was despatched from Ammunition Factory Khadki to Central Ammunition Depot (CAD) Pulgaon.
