Defence Minister Arun Jaitley has said that our jawans are fully prepared to respond to any ceasefire violations by Pakistan. The Defence Minister's comments came in a Facebook post.
In an interaction with media, Jaitley said that Pakistan is continuously violating ceasefire on LoC and International Border. He said Pakistan’s internal forces are not allowing normalisation of relations with India.

Jaitley said that keeping in view the repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan and its invitation to all the Kashmiri separatist leaders for talks in Delhi, India has also called off the foreign secretary-level talks slated for August 25 in Islamabad. He said Pakistan has to decide that what kind of relations it wants with India.

AIR Jalandhar correspondent reports that earlier Defence Minister visited the forward posts along the International Border in Amritsar district and interacted with Army and BSF troops.
