Indian Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Rakesh Sood today inaugurated a newly constructed road from Gothegaon, Mirgaulia village to Purvanchal University in Morang built with India's grant assistance of 3.20 crore rupees. The access road leading to the University will benefit the entire population of eastern zone of Nepal as well as students coming from bordering districts of Bihar to the University. This is the third project completed with India's grant assistance in District Morang under India-Nepal Economic Cooperation Programme. In his address, Ambassador Sood underlined the importance of India-Nepal Cooperation Programme as a cornerstone of the overall relationship between the two countries. He expressed the hope that various developments projects being implemented under the programme would help the people of Nepal in their stride towards peace and prosperity. The projects under India-Nepal Economic Cooperation Programme with an outlay over 5700 crore rupees were implemented in response to local needs and in partnership with the Government of Nepal.
