Indian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Harsh Kumar Jain inaugurated India Pavilion at Expo 2017 at Kazakhstan capital Astana yesterday. The world class exhibition display renewable and green technologies. The Indian Pavilion showcases several indigenously developed solar technologies and devices of the country.<br/>Speaking on the occasion, Chairman and Managing Director of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), LC Goyal said, Indian Pavilion reflects the government's commitment towards renewable technologies.<br/>Expo 2017, with the theme Future Energy got underway in Astana on Friday on the sidelines of 17th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition. 115 countries and 22 international organisations are taking part in the exhibition which will continue till 10th of September, this year.
