Indian ambassador inaugurated indian visa service centre in Nepal

In Nepal, Indian Ambassador Mr. Rakesh Sood on Wednesday inaugurated Indian Visa Service Centre which has been out sourced to Nepal SBI bank. Talking to newsmen, Ambassador Sood said, with new systems that have been introduced, the Embassy will be able to provide better service for the visa seekers. Indian Embassy gets about one hundred applications every day on an average seeking visa for India. While Nepali citizens do not need a visa to travel to India, there are other nationals who after coming to Nepal apply for a visa to go to India. Indian Embassy in Kathmandu is the second one having a visa service centre, after Dhaka in Bangladesh.
