Indian Air force acquiring 126 multi-fighter aircraft: Anil Chopra

Indian Air force is acquiring 126 multi-fighter aircraft within a year to equip the air force with the latest machines to face the challenges on the security front. This was disclosed by Air Marshal Anil Chopra at Kapurthala, Punjab, while talking to media persons during his visit to Sainik School. He said, the Light combat aircraft (LCA) would also be added to the air force soon. Replying to a question on the security threats from China, Air Marshal said, air force is fully ready and well equipped to face any external threat. He lauded the role of Sainik schools for imparting quality education to the students. He also interacted with the students and gave replies to their queries. Air Marshal Chopra told the students that he was a 4th class student when Sainik School was opened in 1961 with the objective to motivate the students to join the armed forces.
