Indian accused in toddler’s death faced court in Melbourne

The 23-year-old Indian accused in the death of a Punjabi child Gurshan Singh Channa on Tuesday faced court in Melbourne. The accused Gursewak Dhillon did not apply for bail on a charge of manslaughter by criminal negligence. <br/> <br/>According to media reports, Dhillon sat quietly in the prisoners dock during the appearance at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court. Dhillon has been accused of placing the child in the boot of his car and driving around for three hours before disposing of the body in a field five days ago.<br/><br/>
