India and China have signed three MoUs including setting up Industrial Park in Gujarat. All three MoUs were signed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. First MoU related to setting up the industrial park in Gujarat.

Second MoU is the sister city pact between Guangzhou in China and Ahmedabad related to developing the model state. While third MoU was signed between Guangzhou city of China and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation related to sister city relations.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping have had formal talks at Hotel Hayat in Ahmedabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had welcomed the Chinese President Xi Jinping and first lady of China at the Hotel.

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, Governor O P Kohli, and senior cabinet ministers of the state had welcomed the Chinese President at the Ahmedabad Airport. Traditional and warm welcome had been accorded to the Chinese President along with guard of honor.

Our Ahmedabad correspondent reports that Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also visited Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram.

Our correspondent adds that Panchal region’s famous Hudo dance, Saurashtra’s Mer dance, Rathwa dance of tribals, traditional garbo with earthen pots on head and Dangi dance will be performed at the Sabarmati River Front. Chinese President and his delegation members will leave Ahmedabad for Delhi by this evening. Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also leave for Delhi.
