The Indian women's cricket team is gearing up for a short two and half week tour of England starting August 7. During the 19 day trip, India will be playing a 'Test' and three ODIs after two practice games. The four-day 'Test' match will be taking place after a gap of eight long years. The match will be played at the Wormsley Cricket Ground from August 13 to 16. The last time the Indian women were seen in whites was way back in August 2006, when they beat England in a memorable Test match at Taunton.The Mithali Raj led side will also get a chance to play at the prestigious Lord's ground where the third and final ODI will be played on August 25. The other two ODI encounters are slated for August 21 and 23.
