India wins toss, elects to bat

Hosts India were 100 for 2 in the first innings against England on the opening day of the third cricket test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, when reports last came in. Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bat first.India has made one change for today's match. Pacer Ishant Sharma has been included in the side in place of Spinner Harbhajan Singh. For England, Ian Bell and Steven Finn have made a come back, replacing Johnny Bairstow and Stuart Broad.Both the countries are level 1-1 in the four match series, with the hosts winning the first test at Ahmedabad and the visitors turning the tables on India in the second test at Mumbai.
