Indian Weightlifters won six medals including five Gold, on the last day of the Commonwealth Senior and Junior weightlifting championship in Penang, Malaysia yesterday. With this, the final tally of the Indian contingent went upto 27. India fielded a total of 29 weightlifters who lifted 17 Gold, 9 Silver and One Bronze. Senior Weightlifter won 7 Gold, 5 Silver, a total of 12. In the Junior women category, Rina in 69 kg. category and Pramila Devi in 75 Kg won Gold. In Junior Men 105 kg category, Vampu Prabhakar won the Gold. The Junior team won overall 10 Gold, 4 Silver and One Bronze.
