India win second ODI against England by 127 runs

India has won the second One Day International (ODI) at Kochi against England. In the match played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, the home team defeated England by 127 runs.India won the toss and scored 285 for six in the stipulated 50 overs. A valiant 72 by skipper MS Dhoni, supported by Ravindra Jadeja with an unbeaten knock of 61 saw India putting up a respectable score of 285 runs. In reply, England were all out for 158 runs in 36 overs. Only Pietersen and JE Root put up a semblance of a fight back for the visiting team. For the home team Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin claimed three wickets each.With this win, India has levelled the five match ODI series 1-1. England had won the first ODI at Rajkot.
