Suresh Raina and Skipper MS Dhoni on Saturday scripted Team India's thrilling run chase against Zimbabwe to help the defending champions continue their unbeaten run in the ongoing Cricket World Cup. AIR correspondent reports that this was the tenth consecutive victory in World Cup matches for the Men in Blue, who will now face Bangladesh on Thursday for a place in the semi-finals.It was six in six for Team India in this 11th edition of the World Cup which on Saturday witnessed yet another thrilling run-chase that even MS Dhoni admitted was a good test ahead of the knock-out stage. Dhoni's decision to bowl first at the Eden Park in Auckland bore fruit, until Brendon Taylor, playing his final ODI, scored 138 to anchor already out Zimbabwe to post 287. They were bundled out in the 49th over, the sixth consecutive time in this World Cup that India bowled out its opposition. With the bat, the Men in Blue had a nervy start as they lost 4 wickets at the score of just 92. Suresh Raina and the skipper then came into the middle with an uphill task ahead. They played some real intelligent cricket, sharing 196 runs for the fifth wicket, to guide Team India out of the abyss. Raina, who hit his 5th ODI ton, remained not out on 110, while Dhoni, who again hit a six to finish things off, made an unbeaten 85 as the holders reached the target with 6 wickets in hand and 8 balls to spare. Raina was adjudged man of the match.In Saturday's other match, a rain-marred Pool-A encounter, Australia defeated Scotland by 7 wickets to finish second in the group.On Sunday, in Pool-B, West Indies will take on UAE at Napier at 3:30 AM Indian Time, while Pakistan will clash with Ireland at Adelaide at 9 AM.
