Indian bowlers run riot, claiming 7 New Zealand wickets with the visitors' score card reading 65. Tom Latham who remained unbeaten with 79 fought the battle against bowlers with T G Southee 55, to bring the visitors' score to 190 all out in 43.5 overs. For India, Hardik Pandya who made his ODI debut and Amit Mishra claimed three wickets each. Umesh Yadav and K.M.Jadhav equally shared the remaining four wickets.
