India cruised to an easy six wicket win against West Indies in the ODI opener in Kochi today. India's spinners Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina shared 8 wickets among themselves to restrict the visitors at 211. Virat Kohli on 86 and Rohit Sharma on 72 followed up the good work of the bowlers to clinch the game in favour of India with 88 bowls remaining. Yuvraj Singh and skipper Mohinder Singh Dhoni remained unbeaten. Kohli who was declared man of the match, today became the fastest batsman to score five thousand runs in one day internationals with his score of 86, a feat which he achieved in just 120 matches.
