President Pranab Mukherjee has said that India's public and private businesses are ready to invest in resource-rich Namibia's mining sector using environment-friendly processes to back the country's developmental goals. Addressing students of Namibia University of Science and Technology, Mr Mukherjee said Namibia is blessed with rich natural resources and an abundance of mineral wealth. He said, their efficient extraction and value addition using environment-friendly methods will contribute to the sustainable development of Namibia's mining sector. <br/><br/>Our correspondent reports that on the last day of his visit to Namibia, Mr Mukherjee laid wreath at Heroes Acre in honour of unnamed who were martyred during the Namibian freedom struggle.<br/><br/>The President has since left for home after concluding his six day three nation visit to Africa. <br/><br/>
