India today said it will welcome Pakistan at Heart of Asia conference in Amritsar scheduled to be held on 4th of December this year. However, official confirmation from Pakistan is yet to come. <br/><br/>Replying to a media query in New Delhi, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said this a multilateral meeting to discuss the peace, development and economic co-operation in Afghanistan. <br/><br/>He said, New Delhi is committed to peace and prosperity of Afghanistan and conference is an important forum in this regard.
