India has said it will welcome any reduction in violence and cessation of hostilities in Syria. Replying to a query on the situation in Aleppo, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, protection of civilians should be the top priority. <br/><br/>He said India has always stood for Syria's territorial integrity. Mr Swarup said, there can be no military solution to the conflict and the emphasis should be on an inclusive Syrian-led political dialogue. <br/>
