The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has assured his countrymen that his government would not rest till the perpetrators of the Mumbai carnage and their supporters are brought to justice. Addressing a Press Conference in Washington, Dr. Singh said that the attacks in Mumbai were a calculated attempt by forces outside the country to destabilize the secular polity of the country, to create communal discord and to undermine the country’s economic and social progress. The Prime Minister stated that the matter has been taken up with the Pakistani Government.
