India today warned that it will give an effective response to any unprovoked firing by Pakistan at Line of Control. Briefing media in New Delhi on Pakistani shelling, Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar said India will not let its guard down. He, however, said that New Delhi is committed to maintain peace and tranquility at the border. <br/><br/>He said that in a series of conversations with Pakistani authorities during the last two days, India had sought an end to cross border firing. <br/><br/>The Secretary clarified that the picture of drone in question shows that it is not of Indian design or available in Indian armed forces' inventory. He said it appears to be of Chinese make.
