India were at 229 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 45 overs against Pakistan in their opening match of ICC Under- 19 Cricket World Cup Championship in Dubai. India won the toss and opted to bat first. Openers Akhil Harwadekar and Ankush Bains put up a quick fire 64 runs for the first wicket in just 8 overs. Then a steady bowling by Pakistan saw Indian middle order crumbling and they were at 94 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 0vers. Sanju Samson and Sarfaraz Khan then took charge and steadied the Indian innings. Sarfaraz Khan made 74 runs of 78 deliveries. Sanju Samson is at the crease with 68 runs. Earlier, Akhil Harwadekar scored 41 runs while Ankush Bains made 24 runs. For Pakistan, Karamat Ali has bagged two wickets.
