India were 159 for 1 at stumps on the third day of the first test against New Zealand in Kanpur today. They lead the visitors by 215 runs. India lost the wicket of opener K.Rahul, but Murali Vijay with 64 and Cheteshwar Pujara with 50 remained unbeaten to power India to 159. Earlier, New Zealand who started the day with 152 for 1 were all out for 262. Ravindra Jadeja claimed five wickets for 73 while Ravichandran Ashwin claimed 4 wickets for 93.
